CoD4 MP5 guide

CoD4 MP5, easily one of the best weapons in call of duty. Its a great all around gun so you can adjust to how your cod server is flowing. Movement, speed, bullet spread, and customization are all factors in favor of the CoD4 MP5. Lets go over some strategies to make you king of you're CoD server with the MP5. The tips here apply to pretty much every SMG in Call of Duty.

CoD4 MP5 - Attachments & Perks
One of the coolest things about CoD4 is being able to customize things like attachments. I'll go over each one, choose which ever suites your play style the best.

Silencer
Good for behind a team and dealing lots of damage without showing up on the minimap. The silencer tones down muzzle flash/smoke a lot so tracking enemies while firing at them is a lot easier. The MP5 Is already weak in the range department and this attachment makes it even worse.

Red Dot Sight
This sight makes it easier to see while your zoomed in. Its really good due to the extra view, but muzzle flash and smoke can still be a problem. This is the attachment I use with the MP5 its good to have in most situations.

ACOG Scope
Increases range a little. The MP5 isn't meant for range, if you want to do long range fighting don't use the MP5. Even with the ACOG this gun will still suck at long range, stick to your advantage and keep the fighting close.

Bandolier or 3xFrag nades
Stopping Power
Steady Aim
These perks work best for SMGs in CoD4 because they will play into your advantages. Get in do your damage be mobile and mix up your play.

CoD4 MP5 - Movement
Zooming in with the MP5 doesn't slow you down so movement plays a bigger role than it would with an assault rifle. When I talk about movement I'm talking about 2 forms of it, in guns fights, and movement around the map itself.

In Gun Fights
Every one who has played in a CoD server online knows standing still gets you raped, but standing still also makes your gun more accurate. The great thing about the MP5 is you can move and still keep good accuracy. When you get into a close range fight the trick is to use movement to keep your cross hair on the target. If they strafe left you should move left to follow them without moving your cross hair. This makes it easier to aim for you and they will have a harder time hitting you.

Around the Map
You want to do as much damage as you can without getting caught. The more kills you get the more people you'll have chasing you. After you score a bunch of kills move out and take advantage of a different part of the map.

CoD4 MP5 - Maps
Whats cool about this gun is that its so well rounded that a smart player can do good with it on just about any map. Some maps do lend themselves better than others though, and there are a few that are tough for the MP5.
Good Maps

Crash
This maps main areas of traffic have lots of routes in and out. An aggressive SMG can pick this map apart on a good day.
Over Grown
Wide open map with lots of back ways to flank unsuspecting gamers from. The close quarters interiors of the enterable buildings are easy pickings for an MP5.
Vacant
Most of this map is close quarters indoor fighting the AK74u and MP5 are both really good for cleaning out a Call of Duty server on this map.
Strike
Theres tons of cover on this map for a smart player to take advantage of with an SMG. Easy to rack up lots of kills moving from building to building.

Bad Maps

Count Down
This map is bad for every weapon... especially the MP5 because its so wide open. The lack of cover makes it hard to hit and run.
Shipment
On paper shipment should be good for the MP5. The problem is every player in the server is packed so close that you need a bigger clip and 30 bullets to string together a nice run.
Wet Work
Another map with lots of wide open long range fighting. Another problem is the map is so linear that you have to fight every one head-on, not much chance for flanking.

CoD4 MP5
The MP5 is own. Its a popular gun but most people dont use it the right way. Most people don't even realize that doing well in video games isn't about out shooting every one, its about out thinking them then out playing them. Playing with that in mind will give you an advantage over 90% of the people you run into on a CoD server. Play smart and take gold in your next Call of Duty server.

Epah, ultimamente tenho jogado mais Hardcore S&D mas kurto bué sem NADA (No attatchments). Exprimentem

Sem duvida....esta arma com sttoping power, steady aim, bandolier e silenced.....é uma coisa horrível.....consegues fazer movimentações espantosas....o unico problema é encontrar alguém de frente com uma AK-47...... xD!!!!!
